Hi Lori Thanks for checking that, yes Pittsburgh isn't far from where they were, so It may be worth buying a subscription or at least finding the name of the person who clipped the reports, most probably someone I already know as we have been discussing the murder trial of JOHN FULLEM who is more than likely connected to the family. It's good that you found something far back as 1846, was this in the Pittsburgh paper as well?? What newspaper subscription do you have?? Thanks for looking. I know it's not far from Washington Co., PA. In the years 1846 - 1945 there were 130 hits for Fullum. In the same years there were 104 hits for Fullom. Something interesting is that in 1871 a John Fullem (it brought up this spelling as well) committed a murder and there was a trial. This happened in Washington Co., PA but appeared in the Pittsburgh paper. Someone else clipped these articles. There were several of them. This is set up like Ancestry in that we can contact the person who clipped the articles. She clipped (saved) them about a week ago. Unfortunately it brings up words like full-time. Hi Diana, I'm a different Lori, but I was wondering if you had checked Chronicling America through the Library of Congress website? There's a lot of newspapers there from Pennsylvania. Here's a link: http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/newspapers/?state=Pennsylvaniaðnicity=&language= That's just to the list of Pennsylvania papers. This is the main page: http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ When I searched for Fullem in Pennsylvania, I got 4182 hits. Also, Elephind.com has 28 matches to Fullem. That site searches old newspapers that are digitized online. This link is the results list for Fullem in Pennsylvania: http://elephind.com/?a=q&r=1&results=1&lsq=Pennsylvania&e=-------en-10--1--txt-txINtxCO-Fullem------US--- Their homepage: http://www.elephind.com/ I've found somethings there that I didn't even know existed online. I hope these help. Good luck!!
