    3. Hi Margaret, I work within walking distance of the library and have spent a lot of time there. Is there anything in particular you’d like to know? There is free parking under the building, there are one-way streets down there, enter the garage from 8th street. You’ll exit the garage onto 7th street. There was a much ballyhooed budget cut/staff reduction last year which forced them to cut back their hours. I think they had to close on Mondays. I believe they got a little bit of funding back and may be back open on Mondays, make sure you check their hours before you go. They are only open until 5pm. They have microfilm readers and copiers. Make sure you put some money on a copy card, you’ll need it. They have computers with Ancestry on it and I don’t know what else. They did have a snack bar/cafe so if you get hungry you won’t even have to leave the building unless you want to. I haven’t been there since the cutbacks, so I don’t know if that still exists or not. It’s a wonderful library. Good luck with your research! Robin > On Aug 15, 2017, at 10:35 PM, Margaret P.
