There is an Island in the Pacific called Midway. I landed there in 1956 on my way to Guam where I was stationed. I was a weatherman at the air station there. The Island is built on the rim of an old volcano and the center of it is a large lake of a beautiful blue color. There was not much else on the Island but military buildings and the old hulls of WW2 ships that were damaged in the battle of Midway. I don't know what it looks like today.
