    3. I can’t download the 2017. Has anyoneelse had this problem. I emailed them twice but no answer in 5 days. Told them to send me the CD to download. This is terrible. I used familytremaker for years from ancestry and had no problem. I thought there was another company who synced to ancestry. Help me.     3. I assume you are using the Mac version and I downloaded it from MacKiev with no problem other than the download was very slow. There was a message stating something to the effect that if you didn’t get a .dmg file the download had not completed. If you clicked on the file before the extension was only .dmg you will need to start over. Good luck, and BTW I may be one of the few on this list to know where Midway is.     3. Lena commented she thought there was another program other than FTM which linked to Ancestry. It is Rootsmagic. If interested see www.rootsmagic.com However, the option to link is only a few weeks available, so it may take awhile before all the kinks are worked out. I have not yet tried synching. If interested, one might want to seek opinions from people who have done this. In my opinion Rootsmagic is a much better program than FTM. That being said, we all have our favorites.     3. Just curious, are you downloading the beta version, or the final version. I didn't think the final version with the CD was available yet. As I ordered the 2017 version with CD amd haven't heard from them. So I figured it wasn't through beta testing.     3. I'm on vac at the moment but I got an email when they were Beta testing the MacKiev FTM. You go through the validation and it verifies and then let me down load. I cannot also link to internet as FTM14.1 doesn't recognise my password or the fact that internet is working.
