Hi listers, We get a 12 markers match for out Brother, Marvin Manley's DNA R-M269 atleast once a week. He has about 1,500 matches. Does this mean he is related to everybody or no body? He had two matches on 37 markers, Robert Manly IV and John Cass. Can't connect either of them. GrandmaJone

I would concentrate on the 37 marker matches and basically ignore the others. You did not say where your brother tested -- am guessing FTDNA. If so you could do the Family Finder test from the sample already sent in to see what comes up in terms of both male and female lines. Then export the raw data from the Family Finder test (autosomal) to gedmatch where you might possibly find some other matches to explore.
