Hi, I am trying to find anything that will show that the man in my subject line ( Clare Johnson Swinborn) existed.  So far (the last twenty five years) I have found nothing.  I do know his state of birth (PA) and his approx date of birth (1906 or 1907).  That is all.  It's like every trace of his life has vanished.  I don't know his parents' names, any siblings, or when he died.  I have struck out with SSA records, census, military, public trees.  My dream is that there is someone out there who has some sort of relationship to him.  I don't know if he was a good man or a louse, but I would like to think he left something of himself behind somewhere.  Thanks.  John in TN.
