Rick For you wife, the available tests are mtDNA, which follows the female line (mother, mother's mother, mother's mother's mother...), and autosomal, which is for everyone. Lots of companies do autosomal, not a lot do mtDNA. I would choose FamilyTreeDNA for that reason. Sometimes you can get a good deal when putting them together.
