Filling in gaps in research (dianna charles) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Message: 1 Date: Sun, 17 Apr 2016 08:35:17 +1000 From: "dianna charles" <diamonddi57@optusnet.com.au> Subject: [ROOTS-L] Filling in gaps in research To: <roots@rootsweb.com> Message-ID: <4D88791F03394350A0AEEED827B4A981@DESKTOP> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Hi Everyone Can anyone advise me the best way to fill in some gaps in my research please between a birth in 1819 in Washington Co. PA and a marriage in 1846 in Tarentum, Allegheny Co. PA. I have been researching Henry FULLER (perhaps FULLUM) who was born in 1819, March?? in Washington Co. PA. there has not been a birth/baptismal record found as yet for either HENRY or his 6 siblings (all b Washington Co. Robinson Twp?), parents NELSON FULLUM (died 1829) and MAGDALENA (died 1853 Indiana Co. Pa). Henry FULLER then marries Mary Ann ROSE in Tarentum, Allegheny Co. PA in 1846 (We have that marriage record). Henry is always FULLER after this point. The family do seem to be Presbyterian (at some stage) as NELSON FULLUM appears in the church records there in 1818 (colored) as a member of the RACOON, Presbyterian Church, Candor Robinson Twp. Are there any records that anyone can suggest to find out anymore details of Henry especially and/or his 6 brothers at all? HENRY and wife Mary Ann nee Rose were living in Armstrong Co. PA from the 1850 Census also Henry was in Indiana Co. Pa when his 4th child was born in 1852, this is where his possible mother MAGDALENA FULLEM/ER died. I have contacted the Armstrong Co. courthouse for tax records and they told me that there are tax records there from 1850 but I don?t know how I could check if Henry FULLER was those records as no assistance or advise was offered only that the books could be looked at, as I?m in Australia it is a bit difficult. Any advise/help is very much appreciated. Kindest regards Dianna from Sydney Aus. ------------------------------ To contact the ROOTS list administrator, send an email to ROOTS-admin@rootsweb.com.
