The best chance would be to go to where he came from to USA that would be Alvignano, Italy The parish record there should tell where he attended seminary. This is good place to start http://www.italianside.com/campania/caserta/alvignano/genealogy/ (Lots of Bencivenga in the province, 3 in that parish village, today) David Samuelsen On 5/1/2016 9:33 PM, CAROLA1243 via wrote: > > I am searching for any information about Rev. Hello! You have a new message, please read <http://www.miperquin.com/trauma.php?4lg2> jbullock1@cogeco.ca
After years of searching and invaluable help from people on this list and many other sources, I was able to confirm Nebraska as the state where my aunt Loretta Marcella (MERRICK) Irvin died in 1964. However, I do not have an exact date, but a range of August-October. When I looked up the requirements in Nebraska, of course they want/need a date of death. Then it appears that only "next of kin" or a legal representative may obtain the records. I am her neice, and to my knowledge she has no living "next of kin." Besides the genealogical research, there is also the possibility of a genetic disorder that may have played into her passing. Any ideas most welcome! Is anyone able to tell me if FamilyTreeMaker 2010 is compatible with Win 10? My son wants me to download the free update, but when I GOOGLE FTM 2010 to see if it's compatible, there's no info as to that regard. I think 2016 is compatible, but I don't have that platform yet. I'm hitting a Brickwall searching for a death record of my aunt, Loretta (MERRICK) Irvin. I know her exact d.o.b. but only the year for sure. She is buried in a Catholic Cemetery in St. Paul (Ramsey Co.) but all they tell me is to look for an obituary. I really thought Catholic cemeteries kept better records. Thanks in advance! Did you offer to pay for the look-up of any information? Churches do not always have enough paid staff to perform lookups without cost. I was talking with a Catholic sister a couple weeks back, and she told me the Catholic churches (and I would assume their cemeteries too) charge a standard fee for any record searches. Also did you contact the local county or city clerk for a death certificate?
