I wouldn't take anything a site like this (the Internet equivalent to a supermarket tabloid) has to say. The same site also has done anti-vaxxer scare pieces not based on anything factual just like this article. Hi list folks Searching for helps regarding gg gramps who as a physician administered morphine to infant child adolesants and the patient died. 1851 in christian co. illinois. 1854 the state of illinois brought suit against him for murder. I have no information whether he was jailed housearrested whipped or beaten or hung at time of his dec.1857 death in macon co. 20+ people gave witness statements (which i dont have) and i have not found a verdict or punishment for my gg gramps. His scant will only gave a wheat field that he had for his son Adam S.Smith oct.1857 i presume he was physically able to plant that. any news articles photos or information regarding this upsetting case in that time would be appreciated thankyou wayne smith
We have made many improvements to our Pennsylvania Death Certificate Index. Place names have been converted from abbreviations and the index now includes hospital names based on the 2 digit hospital codes found in the printouts from the state archives. There are nearly 20,000 names in the database and updates will be made monthly. We have also added a few aids to help researchers extract as much info as possible from the state archive printouts. We have created charts to help convert county code numbers, decipher place names, and determine hospitals and private facilities. We have moved the index and research aids to our free resource site, Record Hunter Search (RHSearch.com). http://www.rhsearch.com/pa-death-index.php Rootsweb is a great resource for researchers to assist one another; as such, this email is meant as an informational post and not a discussion. Hi,I'm looking for Carol Van Buren. Is she on this site or does someone know her e-mail address? I'd really like to get in touch with her. I tried an address I had but it's no good anymore. I'm doing Hedglin research and just found out there supposedly were three Hedglin brothers...William (my 3rd gr), John and James. I think James is Carol's ancestor. I'm trying to find the father of these three men. My William's father was supposedly George Hedgling from England. I can't seem to find any father for the other two. The only thing I have on James Hedglin is his wife's name, Rebecca UKN. I'm hoping Carol or someone could help me. Some of what I find on John Hedglin leaves a lot to be desired. If you hear a loud unexplained noise, it's just me shrieking in frustration. I'll provide names and dates if anyone wants to help. Thanks in advance.
