She married WALTER GRAY 1869 in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England, son of THOMAS GRAY and MARY ADAMS. Notes for ELIZA GARRETT: Resided at North Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight (1871 Census) where she was living with her Parents. Moved to Mutdapilly, Fassifern, Queensland in 1898. Eliza's sister Jane married Walter's brother Silas. Eliza was buried at Mutdapilly Cemetery. Notes for WALTER GRAY: Walter's brother Silas married Walter's wife Eliza's sister, Jane. Walter resided at Yeovil, Somerset, England from 1847. He is listed on the Census of 1871 as living with his wife and her parents at North Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight. Walter, Eliza and their children Mary and Joseph Robert sailed from London on 1/2/1873 as free passengers on the 'Storm King', arriving in Brisbane on May 3,1873. With them were Walter's brother Silas and Eliza's sister Jane (who were also married) and their two children, Clara and Walter Adolphus.
