I am searching for information on John P. Burks (b. 1846) and Frances Maria Richardson (b. 1848). I do not have their birthplaces although I believe they were from SW Va. I also do not have the date or place of their marriage. Family stories have it that they traveled from Mississippi to Arkansas in a covered wagon. There is no history of where they were before Mississippi. They settled in Conway and Faulkner Counties in Arkansas. One of their 12 children was my ggm. Thanks, Bob Holyfield Rootsweb Sponsor
