    3. I am searching for information on a Musch family who migrated from Prussia to Australia and America. Please refer to the information below. Notes for ANDREAS MUSCH: Child of ANDREAS MUSCH and AUGUSTA HIDDLEBRANT is: 2. i. CARL2 MUSCH, b. Abt. 1820. Generation No. 2 2. CARL2 MUSCH (ANDREAS1) was born Abt. 1820. He married ??. Notes for CARL MUSCH: Carl came out with his daughters Albertine, Julia and Julia's infant son. They had six or seven children. Three or four remained in Prussia and/or emigrated to USA. Buried at Logan Village, Queensland, Australia. Children of CARL MUSCH and ?? are: 3. i. AUGUST FRIEDERICK3 MUSCH, b. 1850, Prussia; d. September 27, 1932, Gleneagle, Queensland. ii. RUDOLPH MUSCH. Notes for RUDOLPH MUSCH: Listed as a sawmiller from Carbrook, Queensland in 1932. iii. CARL MUSCH. Notes for CARL MUSCH: In 1932 Carl had retired to Beenleigh, Queensland. A Carl Musch owned the Hotel Waterford in 1898. Same one? iv. ALBERTINA MUSCH, m. (1) PETER KLUVER; m. (2) ? LOADER. 4. v. ALBERT MUSCH. Generation No. 3 3. AUGUST FRIEDERICK3 MUSCH (CARL2, ANDREAS1) was born 1850 in Prussia, and died September 27, 1932 in Gleneagle, Queensland. He married (1) EMILIE BOCK. He married (2) MARY AMELIA ZINK, daughter of ? LE BRENZ. Notes for AUGUST FRIEDERICK MUSCH: Resided in a "small town in Prussia" before before emigrating on the "Charles Dickens". They sailed from Hamburg, Germany on 5/4/1877 arriving in Brisbane on 4/9/1877. With him were his wife, Emilie, and their daughter, Theresa (1) and a Jacob Musch (18). Passenger list shows his name with an Umlaught above the "u" so may not be related. His occupation in Prussia was as a Doctor's attendant. He served in the war of 1870 against the French. Upon arriving in Queensland, Australia he took up land at Slacks Creek. Sold out after several years and bought another property at Stockleigh from pre-1887. Retired to live with his daughter Martha (Zink) at whose Gleneagle home he passed away. August was the first Farmer to experimnent with ensilage on the Logan River. Buried at Logan Village Cemetery. August's second wife was his daughter Martha's mother-in-law. Notes for EMILIE BOCK: Buried at Toowong with her daughter Theresa. She was buried as Amelia.
