Researching: BLUM/BLOOM, HORST, JUENGER, JUNKER, JUNGINGER, (VON)RAUCH, (VON)REITZENSTEIN, YINGER, MISHKIN, MISHKIND, HEERMANN, WOLFENCUTTER, YORK. Spending most of my time on: YINGER/JUENGER/JUNKER (looking for the original name..), RAUCH (attempting to find name of great great grandparents), and REITZENSTEIN (trying to find the village of origin in Volga region of Russia; and establish a link between the Volga Reitzensteins and those of native Germany. I have found Reitzensteins in Bavaria, Baden, Wuerrtemberg, Saxony, Hesse, Saarland, Prussia, and Austria -- and even possible relatives who were among the "Hessians" stationed in Canada during the American Revolutionary War. But, I don't yet have any direct link established, so I'm not sure from which branch I am descended.) Any help would be appreciated! Cheryl Blum blumc@peak.org
