Hello to All, I have posted some queries for my two JONES lines on the JONES-L list but no luck getting any data so perhaps someone on this list might have some data. I had 2 gr gr grandfather JONES as follows. 1. Samuel JONES born 1770/1790 I think in Md. He married Catherine (Kitty) VanPelt 8/18/1808 in Fayette County, Ky. They had 5 children, 1. Eliza 2. Samuel 3. Joseph 4. Henrietta 5. Henry C. JONES born 1830 in Ripley County, In. Samuel died 1834 in Ripley County, In. No record of when Kitty died. I'm wanting to locate the parents for Samuel. 2. James JONES married Rebecca COLEMAN 1819 in Mason County, Ky. They had a daughter Amanda who married Henry C. JONES the son of Samuel & Kitty. I don't know if Amanda & Henry were cousins or if they were in any way related. I would like very much to hear from anyone having data for either of these JONES lines as I'm wanting to trace them back to the ones who came to America.
