Jimmie Sue, Here is the info I have about my Gross family. George Washington GROSS, b. 1842 in Wayne Co., MO. He married Winnie (Sylvenia?) WILHITE, b. abt 1850. They were living in Texas Co., MO in the 1880 census. They had several children, among whom were Nancy Jane, Jackson, Cora, Rosa, James and others. Nancy Jane was my great grandmother. She was born 9/20/1869 in Houston, MO. She married John Ricahrd JONES b. 2/17/1968 in Raymondsville, MO. Nancy and John had 10 children. George Washington Gross' father and mother may have been Frank and Florence_______ Gross. John Richard JONES father was Wesley JONES who was born in either Scotland or Ireland.
