They were Irish who went from Ireland to Liverpool, England then they sailed on the 'William Jarvis' boat and arrived in New York, USA on 06 April 1849. The boat log listed the BRISCOL family as: (husband) James 36 Laborer b.circa 1814 IRE (wife) Mary 33 Dressmaker b.circa 1816 IRE (daughter) Mary 4 Child b.circa 1845 IRE (daughter) Catherine 2 Child b.circa 1847 IRE I know that the child Mary BRISCOL was married to Emry PERRY and wound up in Perry Co. & Athens Co.,OHIO. I would like to find any other people looking for BRISCOL's / BRISTOL's / BRISCOE's of Ireland > New York > who may have had family moving to Ohio.
