I am trying to find information about James and Bridget (RILEY) RYAN and their children Edward J. (E.J.), born July, 1867, in New York, and Mary Lydia (Mae), born May 14, 1874, in Streator, IL. They came to LaSalle Co., IL, around 1870, probably from New York, Pennsylvania, or Florida. May married Owen KIMES and moved to the Belleville, IL, area (near St. Louis) just after 1900. Ed moved to Apopka, FL, before 1900. James supposedly died young, and Bridget, who was supposedly blind, remarried someone with a Scottish name. Nobody in the family can remember it.
