Maxine and Karen: I am also interested in the Davis line. I am searching for information on Olivia Davis, daughter of William and Priscilla Unknown DAVIS. Olivia was b about 1925 and married James STUDDARD. They had one child, William STUDDARD b about 1942-1949 (my great grandfather). I think Olivia was b in AL. She died about 1870-72. Other children of William DAVIS are: Susan, Thoams, Mary, Letta, Daniel, and James L. This DAVIS was in Cherokee Co AL in 1850, living next door to James and Olivia DAVIS STUDDARD. Does any of this connect with your DAVIS? There were also 2 other DAVIS lines that intermarried with STUDDARD's, I don't have information on those lines but can put you in touch with the folks researching those DAVIS lines. Glenda
