Looking for information on my grandfather and his family. My grandfather was Francis Edward Van Buren born Oct 3, 1908 in the Chicago area. He had two brothers, Martin and Eugene Van Buren. I do not have birth dates for them, but I know that my grandfather was the youngest of the three boys. My greatgrandparents were Francis Edward and Ella Van Buren. Ella died while my grandfather was young and his father remarried, but I don't have the name of the second wife. My greatgrandfather ( Francis Edward #1) was supposed to be a captain or chief of police in Chicago, but I have no confirmation on that. I would be grateful for any information on this family .
