I am searching for information on my grandfather, Arthur James CHASE, b. June 25, 1878 in West Fairlie, Vermont. He married Helen Deborah SMITH on July 23, 1906 in San Diego, CA. Also looking for information on the ancestry of Charles Lyon SMITH who married my ggrandmother, Sarah Maule Ecroyd on February 25, 1867 at Sigourney, Iowa. Charles Lyon Smith of Seward, son of Alexander and Ann Smith, a Civil War veteran discharged at Keota, Iowa. Born at Milford Center, Union Co. Ohio, April 28, 1837. Died in Los Angeles, CA, Dec. 9, 1919, buried at Lincoln, Neb. After death of Sarah Eroyd he mrried secondly to Stella M. Badger, March 28, 1908. No issue by 2nd marriage.
