I'm new to this list and still new on everything. Looking for Willis line from Lawrence County, Ohio Father Green Willis dob 12//08/1879 dod 09/23/1931 Grandfather Jedediah Willis married Mary A. Elswick in Lawrence County, Ohio aroung Jan. 30th, 1879. Marriage license issued on that date.. My father died when I was 3 yrs. old. I don't have any records or much information. Would appreciate any knowledge of where to go and what to do. I was told the willis family was from Georgia and something about criminals from oversees taken to Georgia.
