When you reply to a message delete all but one line of the message you are replying to. High light the message content and then delete it. I'm list owner of several list so when you write to me include the list you are talking about I can't go through sixteen list subscribers to find you. Remember all request go to request address pc software handles it when I first started subscribing to these e-mail list I had the same trouble you are having if you are dealing with requests all mail goes to LISTNAME-L-request@rootsweb.com for LIST MODE or LISTNAME-D-request@rootsweb.com for DIGEST MODE. It has to be simple one request no comments no html turn that off in your options. all comments go to me ndwilson@swbell.net about unsubscribe as list owner. The list as a whole when you send genealogy information goes to listname-l@rootsweb.com Now I suggest taking a piece of paper or index card. Write on it to post to this list which ever you are receiving change listname to the list you are getting listname-l@rootsweb.com now then put how to unsubscribe change the L to D listname-l-request@rootsweb.com put this info under your keyboard.
