    2. I recently bought a book published by the Illinois Historical Society in 1904. One of the treasures I found in this book was a list of the units that were formed in Illinois during the War of 1812. I know that many people are looking for this kind of information so I wanted to share it. There is a lot of information in this book, so I will post it in parts.
