Hello!! I get alot of e-mail daily because I belong to alot of different mailing lists. I use the delete button that is up in the tool bar...then about once a week I "clean house" by clicking on deleted items and throughly deleting them or saving them, and then to sent items and delete those i no longer want or need..hope this is what you meant and that it helps.
