WHITE,Robert J born July 17, 1831 married Sept 19,1858, Elizabeth J Williams born Aug 16, 1836. He was a member of either Up River or Piney Woods Meeting. Permission was not granted for them to marry. I can not find any info on her or her family, and do not know why they could not marry in the Quaker Church. Both are buried in the Up River Quaker cemetery in Perquimans Co., NC He died May 16, 1910 and she on May 4, 1907. He was the son of Francis White and Mary D Jones and I think she might have been the daughter of James and Sabra ?? Williams. There daughter Mary Sabra White born Nov 8, 1860 was my grandmother.
