I am searching for information on Charter Mitchell/Mitchel. It is thought that he came to Tazewell County, Virginia in the late 1700's from Eastern Virginia. His wife's name was Mary. His known children were: (1) Sarah/Sally Mitchell who married in Harman in Washington Co., Virginia about 1798; (2) Nancy Mitchell (3) Thomas Warren Mitchell (4) John Mitchell (5) Martha/Patsy Mitchell. The children married into the Skaggs and Hankins families of Tazewell Co., Virginia. Where did Charter Mitchell come from and who were his parents? hannah@netscope.net
