I am looking for information on the SMEDLEY family who lived in Troup County, GA and Chambers and Randolph County, AL. Thomas SMEDLEY and his wife Naomi MELTON moved to Troup County in the 1830's. Their children were John SMEDLEY who married Charolotte SKINNER, Thomas SMEDLEY, Jr., Naomi SMEDLEY, James Milledge SMEDLEY who married Mary WILLIAMS, Bulah SMEDLEY who married J.B. HARALSON, Nancy SMEDLEY who married Nathan THRASH, Elizabeth SMEDLEY who married John ADKINS, and Lucy SMEDLEY who married Mark HUDSPETH. I would like to hear from anyone who has interest in any of the family lines. I am also very interested in Wiley SMEDLEY who I think is the son of John Smedley.
