Irving HONIGBERG - of Elizabethtown, KY, formerly of Boca Raton, FL, and Fort Lee,NJ, died Tuesday, Oct 26, 1999, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a retired owner of Lee-Byron Manufacturing Corp. in Long Island, NY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Honigber. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Cohn of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The funeral is 1:30pm Friday at Herman Meyer & Son Funeral Directors, 1338 Ellison Ave. Louisville, KY. Visitation begins 1pm Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contriutions to Adath Jeshurun and the American Red Cross. Della WILLIAMS SYKES - of Chicago, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, in Milwaukee. She was a native of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard V. Skyes, in 1985. Survivors include a sister, Ione Bramlette of Los Angeles. The funeral is 10 am today at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Dick Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. (Includes a photograph of Ms. Skyes) Samuel Beck DIBBLE Jr. - 90, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, July 4, 1999 at Hardin Memorial Hosptial in Elizabethtown. He was a native of Belton, TX and was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He worked at First Hardin National Bank until about 10 years ago and was active in the Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Foundation. He was Vice President of Jenkins-Essex in Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Dibble; and a daughter, Dana K. Farra. Survivors include his wife, Eva Jenkins Dibble; a daughter, Nancy Craig of Greenville, NC; a sister, Kathryn Lowry of Maryland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Th funeral is 2pm Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Alma K. COX - 80, of Columbia, SC, died Tuesday, Oct 26, 1999, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. A native of Sonora, she was a retired secretary from Columbia Organic Chemical Company and had also served as secretary to the Post Chaplin at Fort Knox. She was executive director of the Mental Health Association of Augusta, Ga., and the executive secretary to the director of Crafts-Farrow Hosptial in Columbia. Following her retirement she was active in the Carolina Crafters Assoc., traveling to craft shows throughout North and South Carolina. She attended Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC. Survivors include her husband Robert M. Cox, two sons, Robert L. of Charleston, SC and Mark E. of Columbia, SC; a sister, Phyllis Van Osdol of Louisville, KY and two grandchildren.
