Hello, Would Jane with information on the Rossiter's please send me your email address? My Rossiter's descend from the following: Edson Rossiter, born in Wayne County, New York March 11, 1818. Died November 23, 1898 at Downsville, Wisconsin. A Lay Minister of the Unitarian Society, he had several children by his first wife. When they grew up they went to Nebraska. One of that family was Shelburn E. Rossiter, born 7/10/1845 in Kemptville, Canada, died 6/11/1924 in Rushville, Nebraska. Edson Rossiter's second marriage was to Lydia Melissa Edes. She was born November 3, 1843, died July 7, 1876. Edson and Lydia Rossiter had one daughter Nellie and three sons; Edson, Oscar and Delbert. I have additional information on Edson Rossiter's son, Shelburn and on the children of his second marriage to Lydia Melissa Edes, if Jane, or anyone else on the list is interested.
