From there according to 1870 TN Hickman County Census they were in TN. Two more of their children, James W. b 1869 and Lucy Jane b 1871. The next account I had for them was in Anderson County, KS in 1880, but Nancy was not listed on the census. William M. had married a Rachel M. Ingram in August of 1879. However, there were two more children born to William and Nancy in KS - Samuel A. b 1874 and Laura E. (my grandmother) b 1878. I have been trying to find out what happened to Nancy C. between 1878-79. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Shirley

    1. [ROLL-CALL-L] White's/MA, NY & VT
    2. Elijah WHITE....born, August 31, 1800, location unknown (1850 census & 1860 census says MA, but family says VT) He died, April 08, 1877 possibly in Black Brook, AuSable Forks, NY. He married Deborah BABBITT, February 23, 1823, in AuSable Forks, NY. (Some places it says Essex County and some say Clinton.) Deborah's mother was Betty FAY of the Catamount Tavern FAY's, (Battle of Bennington) Elijah and Deborah's children were: William White, b: July 17, 1825 in Vermont James B. White b: September 19, 1827 in Vermont Eliza F. (White) Hotchkiss, b: September 01, 1829 in Vermont Alonzo V. b: June 02, 1831, AuSable Forks, Essex, New York (Only lived 4 days.) Charles P. White, b: June 17, 1832, AuSable Forks, Essex, NY Leander Babbitt White, b: April 09, 1834, AuSable Forks, NY Mary Francis (White) Robinson, b: April 05, 1836, AuSable Forks, NY Hellen M. (White) Brauh/Braut/Brault b: January 08, 1845 Livonia D. (White) Jackson, b: May 29, 1850 Deborah died, June 21, 1850, supposedly in AuSable Forks, NY and then Elijah married Nancy Spaulding (1860 census) Nancy had 4 daughters, with the last name of Spaulding: Orenda b: 1849, Sophrona b: 1851, Electa b: 1853 and Kate b: 1854. In the 1850 Black Brook, Clinton County census, Elijah was a farmer and his value of real estate was $800. In the 1860 Black Brook, Clinton County census, he was a saddler and the value of his real estate was $1000 and his value of personal estate was $100. Nancy's value of real estate was $500 and her value of personal estate was $500. Alonzo (Warren) was listed as age 20 and a peddlar. Elijah died, April 08, 1877 and on April 12, 1877, Eliza F. Hotchkiss, Leander White, Hellen M. Hull, Hattie M. White, William White, James B. White, Charles P. White, Mary F. Robinson, Warren H. White, Marion C. Brauh/Braut & Livonia D. He is in the 1860 census with wife, Nancy, 4 Spaulding girls and Alonzo White and Deborah L. White age 10 years. Who were Elijah's parents/siblings. Any and all information appreciated.
