Hi List-- I was just scrolling through the "mail" and noticed that a lot of them list the surnames and then the state. There would be a better chance to get replies if a person would also list the counties and dates as below. Doe, John XXXX County, State 1829-1900. I and quite a few others I know, when they see a name and the above information will do lookups from information they have, or will reply also if the surname is one of theirs. In the past I have seen, for example, Smith, Missouri. Now, if they had put Smith, Jasper Co MO, 1875+, I would have replied. Something to think about---and it may get a person more replies!
