The family hailed originally from Lincolnshire and came to Boston in 1620 as part of the Puritan migration. Thanks to her, there is a clear record of our Truesdell line, which I don't have immediate access to, but I would certainly be willing to share with you. Ironically, she married a Fisher, although almost certainly not one of yours -- his family came from Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he was nearly born himself. However, our Truesdells married into a Mills family (of Scottish origin) in northeastern Connecticut. best wishes, Peter Gilmore

    3. Hi Vickie, I don't think that the Randle families are the same line. My Randles were originally from Virginia in the early 1700's. Moved to Montgomery Co., N.C. in the late 1700's, and then on to Stewart Co., Tn. in the early 1800's. Remained there a few years, and then moved on to Alton, Madison Co., Ill in about 1820. If you still think that there might be a connection with your family, let me know and I can send you some specific names. Sherron

    3. Greetings from Iowa. We have about 3 inches of lovely white stuff on the ground and in some areas blowing. I need some help. I just learned that a sibling, (Hiram Levi and William C. WINTERS) lived in the Jefferson co., Mississippi area. They were there in 1890. Hiram is there in 1880. A descendant of one of these two men was Govenor of Mississippi. Where would I write to find a published story on him? I am hoping it will tell me about Hiram or William. Thank you in advance. Peggy
