A 1/2 Indian lady born in about 1885 was taken in by my great uncles family... Her name was Callindonia (may not be spelled accurately...known as Callie) Mitchell Taylor. They lived in Adair or Russell County, Kentucky. She supposedly married a man for a very short time named ROY in the early 1930's probably in the same county...couldn't stay married...left her husband and returned to my family where she lived until she died.
