Lucetta married Henry in 1866 in Miamisburg, Ohio and according to her marriage application she has her name as Lucetta Bunting which indicates that she was married before. Ida remained with her father Henry, Mary was sent to her paternal grandparents and Alverda May was sent down to Lebanon County, PA. and adopted by Lucetta's sister Louisa and her husband Cyrus C. Albright to be raised. Alverda May lived and remained in Schaefferstown, Lebanon County, PA. and married Moses A. Fetter of Schaefferstown. Mary (we were told) came from Ireland and went to work for John. We were always told her name was Mary Theresa Kelly (which is on Grandfather's SS app.). I received Grandfather's birth record today (from NY) and it gives her maiden name as Ward and her birth place as "City". Mary married John Wright (he was a widower 20 yrs. older and had 3 daughters, a house, and a business). My grandfather (born in 1887) was her third child, she had one more later. Mary was a widow by the time she was 30. My grandfather's SS app. is dated 1939, and I know in 1935 Mary was referred to Grandma Reece/Reese because she had remarried at some time. I intend to try and find out if her mother's maiden name was Ward. Finding truth from fiction is going to take time, if it ever is found. Genealogy is never dull! Help! I have my grandfather's SS application giving his mother's name as Mary Theresa Kelly (which is the only name we ever heard). My grandfather's birth record just arrived and it gives his mother's maiden name as Ward. What do I do now? Ruth in the state of confusion
