    1. [ROLL-CALL-L] VAN BUREN family
    2. Looking for information on my grandfather and his family. My grandfather was Francis Edward Van Buren born Oct 3, 1908 in the Chicago area. He had two brothers, Martin and Eugene Van Buren. I do not have birth dates for them, but I know that my grandfather was the youngest of the three boys. My greatgrandparents were Francis Edward and Ella Van Buren. Ella died while my grandfather was young and his father remarried, but I don't have the name of the second wife. My greatgrandfather ( Francis Edward #1) was supposed to be a captain or chief of police in Chicago, but I have no confirmation on that. I would be grateful for any information on this family . Thanks in advance for your time and any help Jaime [email protected]

    1. [ROLL-CALL-L] GERRITY, SULLIVAN ; PA, USA;1820-1930
    2. My direct lines include two of the most common Irish surnames ---SULLIVAN and GERRITY so you can imagine the difficulty I am having in researching these lines. It is especially difficult since the SULLIVAN line settled in PA-Old Forge, Minooka, Taylor and Scranton. The GERRITY line settled in PA-Scranton, Ledgesdale and Carbondale (with a little Wisconsin mixed in for good luck). Anyone familiar with northeast, PA (Carbondale, Minooka, Taylor, Old Forge, Ledgesdale, Scranton_ quickly recognize how popular the GERRITY and SULLIVAN surnames are. While I am accumulating quite a bit of information I need any and all assistance I can get to help me distinguish the various lines and branches of SULLIVAN and GERRITY. I am therefore asking for HELP. Thanks for taking the time to read this missile and here is hoping that somewhere out there a distant relative will come to my aid. Thanks Walton J. Sullivan at [email protected]

    1. [ROLL-CALL-L] SULLIVAN in NEPA
    2. I am trying my best to get a handle on my SULLIVAN clan in PA specifically those that settled in 1820-1930 in Scranton and surrounding areas such as Old Forge, Minooka, Taylor and onward. There are many SULLIVANs in the area and one of my biggest problems is sorting out the various SULLIVAN families. Many of my ancestors were females and that further compounds the search. Needless to say I am trying to trace my ancestors "across the pond." I have gathered a good amount of information regarding the SULLIVAN and I am willing to share what I have in hopes we can make some solid connections. I am naturally also interested in related and associated families. Any and all information regarding SULLIVAN in the Old Forge, Scranton, Minooka, Taylor and surrounding areas greatly appreciated. And NO I do not know where my clan originated....unfortunately. Thanking all who care to respond. Walton J. Sullivan at [email protected] Thanks again and lots of luck with ur searches.
