For Robert & Kathryn Schueren This article appeared in Life Magazine Feb 15, 1954. There are 2 copies in the material I am sending to those who ordered it. I am really looking hard for the story about Abraham Lincoln and John Eddy Roll and their 'famous' boat. This remark is made in the material which Martha & Thelma Roll prepared in the 80's. There is an account of a boat story in the book 'The Frontier Years of Abraham Lincoln' by Richard Kiegel, and I have a copy of that chapter in the material I am sending out. However, it pretty much has John Eddy Roll talking about the incident, and he doesn't seem to be involved in the construction, so I am not sure it is the same incident.
