Hi Pamela: In regards to Aaron Roll's daughter Elizabeth, b 16 Oct 1814 (where was she born, NY or OH?), do you have proof that she was the one who married John Flemming 5 Jul 1853 Clark Co., OH? The Elizabeth who married John Flemming is shown in the 1860 census - John Fleming, age 51 OH farmer, Elizabeth Fleming, age 52, Jonathan Rall, age 24 OH farmer. In 1850 cencus, Elizabeth Roll 40; Dan. W. Roll 22; Mary A. Kock 20 ; Franklin Kock 24; Jacob Roll 19; Joseph Roll 16; John Roll 14; Jonathan Roll 14; Ann Roll 13; Isaiah Roll 5. (Isaiah was under two guardians in 1858, Jacob G. Burns and Franklin Koch.) So this Elizabeth was born 1808-1810. I have a problem in thinking that Elizabeth, widow of Joseph Roll, wife of John Fleming was Elizabeth Roll daughter of Aaron Roll. I don't think I have run across any female marrying her uncle. Which would have been in this case, Joseph was the younger brother of Aaron. Now I have an Elizabeth Roll who married John Latourrette on 24 Dec 1838 in Clark Co., OH. If this Elizabeth was the daughter of Aaron, she married her first cousin John Latourrette, son of Mary Rall Latourrette sister of Aaron. Of course it would have been too simple if John and Elizabeth had named a son Aaron. Their children were: James Emory b 10 Oct 1839; Mary Elizabeth b 23 Nov 1843; Paredes Hamline b 16 Feb 1846; Sarah Louise b 7 Apr 1848 and John Durben b 26 Mar 1850. In the 1850 census John Lattourette 35; Elizabeth 35 born NY; children listed. So this Elizabeth was born about 1815. James Latourrette and Mary Rall had nine children, three married Roll's/Rall's. (Two I can prove are first cousins.) Nancy
