What a bundle it would have been if you printed it only on one side. Thank you for sharing. The more we share, the more likely the information will be available in the future to others. I'm still studying it. The Index really helps. Wonderful job. Remarkable stuff. I'm still looking for the ROLL genealogy my late father donated to the San Diego Public Library. I'm afraid they chucked it. What a shame. I'm suffering from information overload. What I have now will take me years to merge and organize. Nevertheless, I'm gaining a remarkable amount daily. Today I found on the internet more ROLLs in the Crimea in the Ukrane that emigrated to the Dakotas; they were German. The Germans had "colonies" all over Europe and Russian Asia going back several centuries. I found ROLLs from Germany that emigrated to Pennsylvania. I found the VAN BUSKIRK ancestors of Fytje ROLL who married Jacob MESEREAU. I already had many of the VAN BUSKIRKs, but this information has more details. For instance, Fytje ROLL's mother, Fytje VAN BUSKIRK, was first married to Tulip MAY before she married John ROLL November 03 1738 in New York. I find information like this every day on the internet. It's incredible, and the sites are growing and multiplying daily. Are you sure you don't need additional money to cover your expenses? I can't see how you got it all done for fifteen dollars. I am working on the files you sent me on disk. I have them in Word 6.0 now. I will try to merge them all into one file. I probably will save another single file as a .TXT file to cut down on the size and make searching faster. Others, in case you are not familiar with this ROLL genealogy, this is an older version of the pages that Martha and Lynn made over several decades. Hansel has retyped them, and added the index and updates. In any event, if you had the files, it would cut down on the work Martha has to do. The files contain a tremendious amount of information. But I'm sure Martha has added a lot more since the 1980s. Thank you Martha and Lynn. Anyone interested in the files in Word 6.0 format? There are about 30 of them. The whole package is about 2.52MEG. The thirty files avarage about 8.4K. The whole package or the individual files could be .ZIPped down to about half size for you if you have an archive extractor. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I could send the files in Word 6.0 unless they were in a .ZIP archive. Does anyone know? I could send the 30 .ZIPPed files as email attachments, but it would take time to deliver them all. Let me know. I'm willing and anxious to share. I have copyright plastered all over my web site. That's mostly for the commercial people. I really don't mind if you all copy the stuff to your heart's content. Be warned, some of the information is probably not accurate. Did you get the MARSH file ok, Hansel? Please note my new email address, which was a surprise to me. I think I have most of my distributed lists informed. But my web pages are another issue; there are almost seven hundred of them, and they al have to be changed. About 600 of the pages can be updated almost automatically with the Gedpage program, but they will still have to be uploaded manually.
