Just received this from a friend and thought it might be of interest to some on the list. Jan Isaac R(a)ll is listed probably Isaac Roll who was married to Elizabeth Thompson in 1813. Is there anyone who may have military records for this Isaac who would be willing to share them with the list? Jan (from an affidavit filed by Patsey (Roll) Preston) (dau. of John Roll & Martha Force) "That her said husband(Abijah Preston) Volunteered at Hamilton County Ohio on or about the 14th day of April, A.D. 1812, for the term of 12 months, and continued in actual service in said war for the term of until surrendered by Genl Hull at Detroit on the 16th day of August A.D. 1812, as will appear by the Muster Rolls of said Company. He arrived at home in September AD 1812, That she was called by her friends by the short name of Patsey Roll and she refers to the Certificate attached marked "A" to prove her said marriage."
