Jan, Let me echo Tom Roll's encouragement to continue posting your Roll files. I find the latest information on Conrad Roll & Catherine Hedwig (Harjes) very interesting. My great grandmother's first name was Hedwig and, while her father was a Zimmerman, her mother's maiden name may have been Hedwig. Both Hedwig and Catherine married Rolls and both appear to have given birth to children in New York State. Is Harjes or Marjes the maiden name of Catherine's mother and am I drawing the correct conclusion that Catherine's maiden name was Hedwig? Some information on my Hedwig follows.
