Has anyone come across any Roll/Rolle family from the Alsace-Lorraine region who were say French and JEWISH. I just had a second cousin call me this week and inform me that he got documents that show our Roll/Rolle Julianne Christina Roll/Rolle Schreiner was French Jew. This was news to everyone in the family. It was something we NEVER knew.
