I just discovered 3 or 4 days ago that I have some ROLL ancestors so have not yet tried researching in the library. I would be interested if anyone can tell me briefly about the original immigrant family to colonial America. Are most of the ROLLs from one original immigrant as were the STOUTENBURGHs (from Pieter STOUTENBURGH, first treasurer of Manhattan), another one of my Dutch Lines?
