Roll have another Sarah "Sally" mixed up (or have I mixed her up) when he wrote, "She practiced medicine in Indiana. Four sons in Civil War, two killed. Five in Indian Wars, two killed." Her two children, Jacob Thompson and Betsy Thompson were named in Grandfather, Isaac's will (1804) as "children of daughter Sally Thompson, dec'd. Late wife of Smith Thompson."
