Hi Bill, I forwarded P. 126 directly to you. I hope you get it this time, but if not, I will do it again. P. 4, the death date for Sarah (Sally)(Roll) Thompson should be correct. You will find her again on P. 53, I sent that page not long ago because Nancy had a question on this family. She had two children and I think she probably died when the second was born although I have no dates for him, Jacob Thompson. Elizabeth her daughter was born 1801 and the the boy was younger. Instead of a P. # in the subject, It was listed as Subject: Sarah (Sally)(Roll) Thompson. If you didn't get that page, I can send it again also. I have a question that you or Robin might clear up for me. On P. 126, Joseph Hedges Roll was listed as a child and P. 600 as the head of his family, I have two death years for him and I need the correct one. On my records, I had 1937 but while doing some research, I picked up the 1927 so I listed both dates since I hadn't wrote a note about where the information came from. I have where the date of Jan Mangelese marriage date came from. I believe Michael asked about this date and where it was found. THE AMERICAN GENEALOGIST, Vol. 32, # 4, P. 206. It says "Daughter, name unknown. Jan Mangelson on 25 Aug. 1661 acknowledged in court that he owed to his father-in-law, Pieter Adriaenson." So, it doesn't mean that he was married ON that date but BY that date. Another record that I have done by I. Clifford Roll, "On August 23, 1661 in the DEEDS I, 124: DUTCH MANUSCRIPTS appears the following: "...the honorable Jan Mangelsen of said place, who declares and acknowledges by these presents, that he is well, truly and honestly indebted to his father-in-law, Pieter Adriaensen (Soogemackelyck) dwelling in the colonie Rensselaerswyck, in the sum of 600 guilders in seewant and the number of 10 whole beaver skins, for seewant and other goods which he to his content has received... (signed) Jan Mangelsen."" It looks like I have sent about 34 pages, if I include the Gedcom pages on Stephen Berkley Roll. About 570 more and you will have everything from the N.J. Notebook and we can start on the Penn., Switzerland or Not Connected Yet. You might think I am joking but I'm really not. I want these things available to whoever wants it. I've been trying to get out of the Genealogy Business for several years because I just don't have the time anymore to keep it up to date and to send people the information that they ask for. It is almost a full time job. I have a letter from a lady in Simi Valley, Calif. and all she wanted was the very early pages on Jan Mangelese. Of course, those pages need to be copied rather than retyped. The lady has Multiple Sclerosis and I feel so bad because I haven't sent these things yet. I think she wants the land deeds and the "Patent of Canastagagione" which is a map. She is a descendant of Sarah Vance Roll & Isaac Brokaw III. Sarah Vance Roll was the 3rd child of Abraham & Prudence (Vance) Roll. I have another one to send out and she is a descendant of P. 57 - 184. James Whallon & Susan M. (Weatherhead) Roll. I get so upset with myself because I am not more efficient. Come to think of it, Hansel Haycox has a lot of this and he can probably send it through a Gedcom File and save me a lot of work. By the way, thanks for sending him my E-Mail address. I sometimes forget to thank people for the nice things they do but I do appreciate everything. Martha
