This case did go to court. It was about the original land owned by Jan Mangelese given to him by the Indians. I have never seen the actual court records but I do know that these men lost the case and it was denied to return the land to the Roll Family. Washington McLean Roll played a big part in it because he was an attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio. I don't have any court records and have never seen them but I do know that they exist.
