Sorry Andy, But I for one would not feel comfortable doing a search for someone else on GenServ. To access the information that the subscriber have placed there you do need to send in a GEDCOM. It needed be all of you line, but should probably have some substance. It cost a $1 a month, payable as $12 a year to belong to GenServ, and therefore be able to search the data base. One big plus is the that name of the submitter, their address and e-mail is printed with each search. So whatever you submit will be known as your work.
