Back in the days before we moved our "private" mailing list to Rootsweb, list members had the custom of posting their line every time a new member joined the list. It might be helpful if we continued the practice, if you're interested. Some lists don't encourage this, but we're small and probably can afford the luxury. Posting lines gives all the list subscribers an idea of how they fit into the list, and who might be interested in what.
