Hi Thank you everyone for all your help, I am now in receipt of JOHN HENRY ROLLs birth cert. Wonderful!!!! He was born on 12/1/1840 in GORLESTON, Suffolk UK son of JOHN KELLEY ROLL (born abt 1811 in GORLESTON) and MARTHA ROLL (nee WOODS born abt 1813 in GORLESTON). I am now trying to find out if there were any more children before him to narrow down the marriage date. Does it ring any bells with anyone? Does anyone think that the KELLEY might be the mothers maiden name? Does KELLEY mean anything to anyone? All help gratefully received. Maxine Rolls
