Dear List Members, Thank you, Nancy, for permission to post this on the ROLL list. =====<>===== Anneken PIETERS, (abt 1587-1699) in Holstein, Denmark, widow of Adriaen Pietersen VAN WOGGELUM (abt 1580-bef 1652), came to New Netherland with her two sons Pieter Adriaensen VAN WOGGELUM (abt 1610-aft 1681) and Jacob Adriaense VAN WOGGELUM (abt 1612-aft 1659). Pieter's daughter, Tryntje Pieters VAN WOGGELUM (abt 1642-bef 1705), married Jan MANGELS, the progenitor of the ROLL family in America. All of Jan's children used the surname ROLL, or variant spellings. All of the ROLLs descended from Jan Mangels are, therefore, descended from the VAN WOGGELUMs as well.
